Mastercard just kicked off the latest round of its Start Path Small Business program, and Norman is one of the six startups selected to join. The cohort’s focus? Tackling small businesses’ real pain points—everything from cash flow to unbearable business admin.
For us at Norman, this is about more than just a badge. We’re an AI-driven accounting and tax filing agent built to cut the nonsense out of financial admin. Entrepreneurs shouldn’t be drowning in paperwork or overpaying for compliance—our tech handles it, saving them hours and thousands of euros. Finance should be a tool, not a trap. We’re here to make it run on autopilot for ourselves and others whom the system has burned.

Start Path gives us a shot at something bigger. Mastercard’s network and experience—especially in European finance—let us learn from the best and forge partnerships that can move the needle. We’re not here to mess around; we’re here to build something that works for the businesses that keep the world running.
The other cohort members—BoxCommerce, Skydropx, Lemonero, Calculum, and FlapKap—bring their firepower, from e-commerce and shipping tools to supply chain analytics and fast capital. Together, we’re a mix of problem-solvers who get that small businesses need practical, not flashy, solutions.
There will be more to come as we dig in. For now, check out Mastercard’s full announcement here: https://www.mastercard.com/news/perspectives/featured-topics/fintech/six-new-startups-dedicated-to-driving-big-impact-for-small-businesses-join-mastercard-start-path/.
