Deleting your data: how it works at Norman
How to have your account and data deleted at Norman and which retention periods apply.

Requesting deletion
Open Account → Settings → Danger zone and select Delete account, or email support@norman.finance. Deleting the account starts a grace period of a few days. After that, Norman deletes the account data unless a legal retention duty applies.
If you need your data deleted or want to sign up again immediately, contact support and request forced deletion. Legal retention duties still apply.
Cancelling a subscription is different from deleting the account. Your paid access continues until the end of the billing period. The Terms and Conditions give you 90 days after subscription termination to export your data.
Retention obligations
Certain tax-relevant records are subject to statutory retention periods, which in Germany are regularly several years. Such data is kept until the period expires and deleted afterwards.
