Connect services and manage your integrations
Connect business tools and messaging apps, check synchronization and resolve common connection problems.

Open the connection controls
Go to Automations → Integrations, or open Integrations directly. Select the company the connection should serve. Read the provider card before connecting: availability and the setup process can differ by service and account.
Which connection should I use?
| Service | How to start |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Use its connection button and authorize the correct Stripe account. Review the imported payment records in Norman. |
| Qonto | Use the Qonto integration and follow the authorization flow. If Qonto is already connected through bank synchronization, follow the conflict notice instead of adding a second feed. |
| Shopify | Follow the Shopify card. It opens the app listing when available, or offers early-access assistance. After connecting a shop, review the e-commerce settings shown for it. |
| DATEV | Use the export action to prepare files for your accountant. A DATEV export is a file handoff, not a permanent live connection. |
| WhatsApp and Telegram | Open the connection dialog and follow the account-linking instructions. Check which account or number is linked. |
| Slack | Follow the availability shown on its card. A coming-soon card is not an active connection. |
AI clients and developer connections are covered separately: MCP setup, Public API and n8n/Make.
Connect and verify
- Select the provider and start the connection from Norman.
- Sign in on the provider's authorization page, choose the correct external account and review the requested access.
- Return to Norman and check the connection status. For providers that offer Sync, start a sync and allow it time to finish.
- Open the relevant transactions or documents and check a small sample: dates, amounts, company and duplicates.
An active connection confirms that accounts are linked. It does not by itself confirm that every historical record has been imported. Review the import period and any error shown by the provider.
Reconnect or disconnect
When authorization expires or the provider asks you to sign in again, restart its connection flow from the same company. Do not create another import for the same period as a workaround.
Use Disconnect on the connected provider card when you want to revoke that integration. Do not use disconnection as a way to delete bookkeeping records: review existing transactions and documents separately. An external provider's subscription is managed with that provider.
API keys and AI-client authorizations have their own access controls. Revoking an API key does not disconnect Stripe, and removing an MCP connection does not revoke unrelated API keys.
If data is missing
Check the company, external account, date filter, connection status and any last-sync or error information shown in Norman. For bank feeds, see bank synchronization troubleshooting. For file handoffs, see exports and documents.
If the problem remains, use Support in Norman. Include the provider, company name, approximate time, expected records and the error message. Never include passwords, full API keys or authorization tokens.
