Where to find your BWA
You can find your BWA in Norman under Insights, on the BWA tab. Pick a month, a quarter or a year; the report compares it with the period before and you can export it. It is available on the Free plan too.
The Overview tab
The Overview tab shows one year at a glance:
- Revenue, expenses and profit with its margin, all net of VAT. If the same days of last year have bookings, each figure shows the change.
- Revenue and expenses by month.
- Who pays you: your top payers.
- Where the money goes: your top cost groups. Select one to see its transactions.
If you use the small business rule (Kleinunternehmer), the Overview also shows how much of the revenue limit you have used.
Signed BWA for banks or landlords
Banks, landlords, or lenders often ask for a BWA signed or certified by a tax advisor.
Norman is software and not a tax advisory firm. Norman therefore cannot sign or certify a BWA itself.
Ask your tax advisor to review and sign the BWA for that purpose.
For self-employed people
As a self-employed person, you do not receive a payslip from Norman. Transfers from your business account to your private account are movements of your own funds and should be categorized as Internal transfer, not salary.
