What is the Norman MCP server?

The Norman MCP server lets you use Norman from AI apps such as Claude, Cursor, or other MCP-compatible clients. You can start the guided formation of a German UG or GmbH, query transactions, or prepare invoices there.

Open Norman and go to:

Accounting -> Integrations

You will find the MCP connection details there.

Setup

Add the Norman MCP server in your AI client using the details from the Integrations page.

Technical documentation and the server are available on GitHub: github.com/norman-finance/norman-mcp-server.

Start company formation in Claude

After connecting Norman, open a new chat in Claude and write something like:

I want to form a UG in Germany. Guide me through the process with Norman.

Claude starts the Norman workflow and asks for the information required for your company. Review the company name, ownership, managing directors, registered office, and business purpose carefully before approving anything.

Norman guides the preparation. Notary, commercial-register, and authority fees and appointments remain separate external steps. You can also start directly in Norman.

Norman handles the operational finance work

Invoicing, receipts, bookkeeping, and taxes in one workflow: start for free.
