Correcting invoices (KOR) and cancellations in KSeF

An invoice KSeF accepted is corrected in KSeF only. When Norman sends the correction itself, and when you issue it in the KSeF taxpayer app.

Updated

An invoice that is in KSeF cannot be changed or deleted. It is corrected with a correcting invoice in KSeF (art. 106j ust. 4 of the VAT act). Cancelling such an invoice is also a correcting invoice in KSeF, to zero.

The invoice is Accepted

If Norman can send to KSeF now (the company has a NIP and a token KSeF has not refused):

  1. Open the invoice and choose Correcting invoice, or cancel the invoice.
  2. Enter the reason for the correction and issue the document.
  3. Norman sends it to KSeF as FA(3) KOR, naming the corrected invoice's KSeF number and the reason.

The correction gets its own KSeF number, and that number goes into the JPK_V7. A cancellation goes to KSeF as a correcting invoice to zero.

A correcting invoice in KSeF keeps the buyer's tax ID of the invoice it corrects. KSeF lets you correct a name or an address, never a wrong tax ID. If the tax ID was wrong, cancel the invoice and issue a new one.

The invoice is Sending or Submitted

Wait until KSeF accepts it. Until then Norman hides correcting and cancelling and says: "KSeF has not accepted this invoice yet. Correct it once KSeF has accepted it."

Norman cannot send to KSeF right now

When the invoice is in KSeF but Norman cannot send the correction (no token, or a token KSeF refused), or you are correcting a correcting invoice:

  1. Issue the correcting invoice (KOR) in the KSeF taxpayer app.
  2. Norman imports it with the next KSeF sync and links it to the corrected invoice.

The invoice never reached KSeF

An invoice that is not in KSeF (never sent, Failed or Outside KSeF) is corrected in Norman as usual. Nothing goes to KSeF. In the JPK_V7 the correction carries the BFK marker if the invoice could stay outside KSeF. Otherwise the JPK file lists it as a correction Norman cannot send to KSeF until you record it as issued outside KSeF.

Corrections imported from KSeF

  • A sales correction issued in KSeF appears in Norman as a correcting invoice, linked to the corrected invoice by its KSeF number. If the corrected invoice is not in Norman, the import summary says so.
  • A purchase correction appears among your documents as a document of its own.

What Norman does not do yet

  • It does not send a correction of an invoice issued outside KSeF.
  • It does not resend a KOR that KSeF refused.
  • The correction PDF does not yet state the corrected invoice's KSeF number or the reason (the FA(3) in KSeF does).
  • In the JPK_V7, Norman counts a correction in the month it was issued.
  • The mobile app does not correct KSeF invoices: it sends you to the KSeF taxpayer app.
