Exporting data for your accountant
How to download a data package for your accountant (CSV and Excel) or a file for Comarch ERP Optima or InsERT Rewizor and Rachmistrz from Norman, what it contains and what it does not carry.
Updated
If you work with an accountant or move your data to another program, download a ZIP package from Norman. The export sends nothing: neither to accounting software nor to the tax office.
Download the package
- Open Accounting, tab Transactions (for an sp. z o.o. the button is also on Polish general ledger).
- Click Accounting export.
- Choose the Format:
- General package (CSV and Excel): for your accountant or your own analysis,
- Comarch ERP Optima (XML),
- InsERT Rewizor / Rachmistrz (EDI++).
- Set the period in From and To: at most 366 days. By default it is the current year.
- To add your invoices and receipts, tick Include available source files.
- Click Check export. Norman shows a summary: the number of documents and entries, and the net, VAT and gross totals of sales and purchases.
- If there are notes and omissions, read them and confirm that you accept them.
- Click Download ZIP package.
Documents are selected by issue date, book entries by booking date and bank transactions by value date. If you change data or options after the check, check the export again.
What the package contains
Every package has CSV files (UTF-8, semicolon separated), an Excel workbook, a list of notes and a description in Polish.
- JDG: the entries of the KPiR or revenue register, with the columns of the 2026 form.
- Sp. z o.o.: the whole journal, manual entries and reversals included, the chart of accounts and the trial balance.
- Both: bank transactions, documents, VAT rows and, if you tick it, the source files (up to 200 files).
Optima and InsERT
The Optima file (XML format 2.00) and the InsERT file (EDI++ version 1.11, or 1.12 with a KSeF section) carry counterparties and the VAT sales and purchase registers. For Optima you can change the accounting and source database identifiers and the register names.
This is the first version of these files:
- it carries ordinary domestic invoices in PLN (rates 23, 8, 5, 0% and zw) and confirmed purchase invoices,
- it does not carry posted journal entries, a chart of accounts, settlements or complete books: for an sp. z o.o. the journal entries are in the package's CSV and Excel files,
- it leaves out invoices in other currencies, corrections and special purchases, and lists them in the notes,
- it needs a valid company NIP.
Before you import the file into your database, test the import on a copy of the Optima, InsERT GT or nexo database, together with its posting rules.
The JPK file
The accounting export is not the JPK_V7. You download the JPK_V7 file from the report page under Taxes with Preview and download XML, and the filed file and the UPO with Download filed JPK and Download UPO. See The JPK_V7: how Norman prepares and files it.
What Norman does not do yet
- It does not connect to accounting software or send data to it: you import the file yourself.
- It does not print the KPiR to PDF.
- It does not create PDFs of documents that have none.
