The annual PIT (PIT-36, PIT-36L, PIT-28)
Norman prepares a JDG's annual return and its XML on the Ministry of Finance's templates. You check and file the return yourself: filing from Norman is not available yet.
Updated
For a JDG, Norman prepares the annual tax return for its tax form:
| Tax form | Return |
|---|---|
| Tax scale | PIT-36 |
| Flat tax | PIT-36L |
| Ryczałt | PIT-28 |
The deadline is 30 April of the following year. Norman prepares the 2026 returns, on MF's 2026 templates.
Prepare the return
On the Taxes page, under Annual declarations, open the return for the year. Go through the steps:
- Identification: tax office, address (with voivodeship, county and commune) and PESEL. Only the company owner enters the PESEL.
- Income (on ryczałt, Ryczałt income): Norman fills it in from your records and approved transactions. For the PIT-36 and PIT-36L, enter the opening and closing inventory (0 if you hold no stock).
- Deductions: ZUS contributions, losses from earlier years, the child relief, donations and other deductions.
- Tax calculation.
- Advance payments: the advances of the reports marked as paid. If your books in Norman started during the year, enter the advance due and paid for each earlier month. The amounts due must add up to the advances you entered in the books settings.
- Review & submit.
File the return
- In Review & submit, click Download XML. If something is missing, Norman says what.
- File the return yourself, for example through e-Deklaracje or e-Urząd Skarbowy on podatki.gov.pl.
- Come back to Norman and click Mark as submitted.
Filing the return from Norman (authorized with your revenue from the year before last) is built but not switched on yet. Once it is available, a filing section appears in Review & submit.
What Norman does not do yet
- It does not file the return with the tax office.
- It does not prepare a correction of the return.
- It does not support joint filing with a spouse.
- It does not support quarterly advances.
Norman is software, not a tax adviser. Check the return before you file it, especially reliefs and income from outside the business.
