Hello!
Thank you for signing up! This guide will help you set up Norman and upload your transaction history using a CSV file. The total process will take less than 2 minutes!
Why do we need transaction history?
To help you calculate the taxes! Even if you have a single customer per month, you still have dozens of expenses, like office, ground transportation, software subscriptions, etc. With varying VAT rates and country of origin (e.g., Google Workspace charges you from Ireland), calculating your total tax burden can quickly become tricky.
With Norman, you can handle complex tax calculations effortlessly, saving time and ensuring accuracy!
Step 1. Download CSV from Finom.
On your account's main/home page, click "EXPORT & STATEMENT" on the top-right.
Next, you only need to change two things. First, select a period. Then, choose CSV. You're all set! Click download to get the CSV.
Step 2. Upload the CSV to Norman.
Click the "Upload the CSV" button, select the file, and ... that's it. No, really, that's it. We optimized the CSV uploader specifically for Finom CSV format, so you don't have to assign columns or struggle with numbers.
Bonus. Support.
If you have any challenges getting started, please email us at support@norman.finance. We will reply shortly (even outside German working hours).
P.S. If you didn't notice - Norman is also a happy Finom client.
