Overview

As a Growth Manager and the first non-technical hire, you will play a critical role in shaping our company’s strategy and direction. You will work directly with the CEO, be at the center of strategic decision-making, and drive our go-to-market. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and scale a product from the ground up.

This position is communications-heavy, involving direct interaction with customers, fintech partners, marketing partners, and research into new markets. Your work will be instrumental in driving Norman’s growth and ensuring our solutions meet the needs of our users.

This unique opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in building a business from the ground up, how to solve absolutely any problem, and the mentality to achieve any goal. Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership: Lead high-priority projects end-to-end.

  • Multi-tasking: Work on multiple projects in parallel. 

  • Growth Support: Help identify and evaluate growth opportunities. Design and execute the frameworks together with the CEO.

  • Extensive Communication: Execute on the growth opportunities, including extensive cold outreach, content creation, and organizing events.

  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and support. Ensure customer satisfaction and gather insights to inform product improvements.

  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on new markets, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential challenges. Provide actionable insights to guide our expansion strategy.

  • Event Representation: Represent Norman at industry events, conferences, and meetings, promoting our vision and forging new connections.

  • Partner Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with fintech partners, exploring collaboration opportunities to enhance our product offering.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in business, STEM or any related field.

  • Proactivity: You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a “getting things done” mentality

  • Language: Native-level German and fluent English.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience: Previous experience in startups, consulting, venture capital, investment banking or other relevant work environment preferred. You’re data-driven, analytical and have strong attention to detail.

  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You’re basically a Swiss army knife, covering a variety of roles

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Location: Based in Berlin.
